Yoga Training In School India

A yoga training programme for four schools in Kothamangalam block has started last week in India. The programme is being organised bacause the Union Government want to popularise the traditional Indian medicinal system. Voluntary agencies namely LISS India and Kerala Voluntary Health Services are helping the implementation of the programme.

Lissie Jose, member, Kerala State Women's Commission, inaugurated the programme at Malipara Fatima Mata U.P. School, Kothamangalam.Under the programme, the school students would be given training in yoga for one year, said Ms. Jose.
